I'm in that phase of a project where you think about all the work that needs to be done in the next couple of months, and you get overwhelmed and really nervous about it for no really good reason. Ah yes, the great overthink. Nothing takes the fun, mystery and excitement out of something for me than overthinking it to death, so we're going for a walk to clear out the cobwebs so I can come back to the studio tonight and just do rather thank think. This afternoon I began painting some outlines for my anti-portrait project. It'll be showing in two places later this summer; in the little gallery in the Stanley A. Milner Library here in downtown Edmonton, and at the Bluerock Gallery in Black Diamond. I will be posting the dates and openings in the exhibit section of this website when I have the details.
The show is off to a promising start though.
