Read this carefully to determine if you are a victim!

I have a bad case of C.O.D. and chances are you know someone who does too. It can manifest itself by a sudden and odd detour from a normal conversation, where the victim begins starring off into space, grabs a post it and starts scribbling frantically. Sometimes people who suffer from C.O.D. go on these bizarre shopping sprees, where they come with random bits of colored paper, buttons and colored inks. They spend lots of time re-watching movies they have seen before while being hunched over tables heaped with random drawing implements. It can take over your life, and for those who suffer from this, if they haven't had a 'fit' in a while, they become despondent and restless. I speak of C.O.D. or Creativity Overdrive Disorder. If you or someone you know suffers from this, the best thing to do is make sure you have sketchbook handy and have mapped out the nearest cafes and other quiet areas so you can scribble madly in peaceful contentment.

It may be contagious. If you don't have this and you hang out with people who WILL contract it!

I have JUST finished the last painting in the living library series. The ink isn't even dry yet....and I'm so tired but I thought posting the pictures of the last two and writing a quick blog would help me savor the moment before I collapse into deep restful sleep. Tomorrow I head to the south end of the province for some family shenanigans and drawing time. One of my two major projects is finished. It's a good feeling.....and I'm sure it will be a BETTER feeling when I have more energy to enjoy the moment.
